What does the Great Nation of Africa (GnA) envision?

The GnA envisions a situation whereby the current 850 million residents of Africa South of Sahara (AfSS) would have their socio-economic situation dramatically improved in the short to medium term. The GnA also envisions that the AfSS population in the Yr 2050 would be capped at about 1.5 billion, with a given pre-determined fraction being made up of well integrated first generation immigrants from all other regions of the world.

To enable the full appreciation of the socio-economic and political situation obtaining in the AfSS, we have carried out widespread and in-depth research. In our search for possible remedies to the obtaining situation, we have undertaken comparative studies into the historic development of other countries and regions.

How will the GnA realize this Vision?

The GnA will realize this Vision by applying assorted innovative strategies. Additionally, we have built-in measures around these strategies that ensure the insulation of the strategies from situations where some among the current 50 nation-states may choose not to cooperate with us, or donor funding may not be adequate to fund all our extensive projects, programmes and general activities. Below are some of the strategies that we are beginning to put into effect:

Effecting top level Personal Responsibility among the greatest majority of AfSS residents.
Encouraging and attempting to enforce Good Governance and Responsive Leadership at all levels of government.
Liaising with nation-states to enable the effecting of far reaching devolution. Apart from calming many of the areas in the AfSS that are prone to conflicts, devolution would facilitate the spreading of government services to more and more areas of the AfSS.
